We have had a great time this week using the book ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’ as the basis for our work. We started by creating a display for our door and later in the week we wrote letters from Duncan replying to the crayons’ complaints! Many of us enjoyed the reading breakfasts and also the visit from Andi Dawson the author who led us on a character treasure hunt. Most fun of all was had when we made finger puppet crayons and Mrs Irvin helped everyone to use the sewing machine. Class 2 might have been the black crayons this week but we are far from dull!
